Mikki’s Soul Food Restaurant and Catering was founded by the late Jeanette Williams, a visionary whose passion for soulful cooking created a lasting Houston landmark. Located on the southwest side of the city, the restaurant quickly became known for its heartfelt hospitality and deep-rooted traditions. Today, new legacy owners Craig Jr. and Jeanelle proudly carry forward their mother’s vision. Their leadership honors the past while guiding Mikki’s into the future.
Remembering late owner Jeanette Williams
Fueled by her entrepreneurial spirit, Jeanette set out on a journey to establish Mikki’s Cafe Soul Food & Catering at 10500 W.Bellfort St. Interestingly, this venture originated from her home catering business. With relentless dedication, it flourished into a successful restaurant business. In addition, the restaurant, deeply loved by many, will continue to serve the community and honor her legacy.

25 years strong in Houston! This month was an historic month for us. December 10, 2025, we proudly proclaimed Mikkis Café Day in Houston. Special thanks to our Houston community for embracing us, especially through the ups and downs. Your support fuels our future—here’s to 25 more years together!
